		<description>Basically, one can only wait for the bone to heal. Usually it takes 8 to 12 weeks before any weight can be put on the leg. Yes, the screws are permanent. I see a physical therapist 3 days a week. Right now we're stll trying to get the rest of my leg working again. I only have minimal movement in the hip right now, but it should come back slowly.</description>
