Vision requirements for being a pilot in the Marine Corps at Openbah / Journal of a Marine Officer Candidate

Vision requirements for being a pilot in the Marine Corps

In order to join the Marines with a pilot contract, you must have 20/40 or better uncorrected (correctable to 20/20) vision for the application. Once you are in flight school, the requirement drops to 20/100 uncorrected (correctable to 20/20). PRK/LASEK are approved surgeries.

You should contact your local Marine Officer Selection Office to find out if the requirements are still the same.
